Congratulations to our reading mentors!
A group of our Year 9 and Year 10 students have successfully completed their Reading Mentor training this week, delivered by Coram Beanstalk, a national charity dedicated to helping young people build confidence and a lifelong love of reading.
Through the programme, our students developed skills in communication, active listening, and supportive reading strategies. They are now fully prepared and excited to begin their roles as Reading Mentors, working one-to-one with Year 7 readers to inspire positive reading habits and boost literacy across our school community.
